This was taken a few hours before my Thanksgiving Mailing List super-spectacular turkey feast, though we didn’t get any RSVPs.  I should have hyped it more prominently on our mailing list ratings.  Anyway, every Thanksgiving I go on a preventative carb-burning hike, just to prepare myself for the high-carb holiday meal.  I make a lot of stuffing, more than can fit inside the turkey, even after my four-day-brine process.  Since they’re still an unofficial potential sponsor of the mailing list, I’ll just say I cook the stuffing on my STOVE TOP.   So I hike for about five hours, or until I have officially burned 1300 calories, whichever comes first.

Next up: tips on how to deal with nearly fifteen pounds of uneaten Thanksgiving turkey.  PREVIEW:

  • Step One: Think poz.
  • Step Two: Don’t sweat the small stuff
  • Step Three:  Low-carb turkey enchiladas wrapped in lettuce.
  • Step Four:  To be continued!?!
